Under the Glare of a Vengeful Sky
A downloadable game
Under the Glare of a Vengeful Sky (UtGVS) is a tabletop role-playing game about a community of people working together to survive the climate apocalypse. It uses a unique ruleset which allows players to create a near-future world populated with compelling characters as they confront life-threatening challenges.
The game works best with about 3-6 players, one of whom will take on the role of the "Waterbringer," who runs the game, while the others play characters living in the setting you build. To play, you will need to download the PDF file of the book, as well as the play resources provided. You'll also need writing utensils, six-sided dice, a glass, and some water.
UtGVS is pay what you want, with a suggested donation of $5. Given that this is a game about the very real threat of climate change, it seemed a little too mercenary to charge money for it. However, donations are appreciated and, in lieu of or in addition to a donation to Wheel Tree Press, might we suggest you make a donation to one of the following organizations who fight for sustainability and environmental justice?
Center on Race, Poverty, and the Environment
Indigenous Environmental Network
Labor Network for Sustainability
Thanks for your time. Enjoy the game.

Beautiful work on the art and layout. I’m particularly intrigued by the beats framework.
Might want to consider changing the category to “Physical Games” as that is where most folks will look to find TTRPGs.
Thanks! I'm always confused by the categories for that because it's TECHNICALLY not a physical game, but BOOKS seems to mean stories so *shrug.* I'll switch it over.
It is a bit odd! I kind of wish they’d split physics games into TTRPG and Board and Card Games or something.
Yes! Exactly. That's why I was so confused. Glad I wasn't the only one!
